Incredibly Affordable Yoga Website Design

If you are a yoga teacher working to build a student following, trying to expand your list of private clients, and/or putting on events or leading retreats, then you have to have a website, it’s the cornerstone of marketing yourself and your events, a cornerstone that your students expect you to have!

Om Sites offers very affordable high-end designed website themes that we customize with your name and, depending on the theme you choose, your photos. Om Sites are full websites, not a 1 or 2 page template. Each Om Sites website comes with 7-9 unique pages, the pages that yoga teachers need and want. And because we develop all Om Sites websites on WordPress, you have full access to change your site content whenever you want, no special software is required to do so. Changing your content is as easy as writing an email.

For a one time fee of $295-$395 (depending on the site you choose) you get…

1. The Om Sites website of your choice set up on your webhost (WordPress required)
2. Help selecting a webhost if you do not already have one.
3. The pages that come standard with the template (as listed on the gallery page of the template you selected) are personalized with your name and the images you supply to us
4. A set of instructions about how to use your Om Sites website after it has been installed.

For everything else there is a service charge of $65 per hour, billed to the 1/10th hour. (We know this sounds a little expensive, but this is one of the ways we can keep the base price of a site so incredibly low.)

What we can do for you at the hourly rate…

1. Install WordPress and the database WordPress requires to operate
2. Advise you on images that work best in the theme you select
3. Crop, touch-up, and otherwise work with your images
4. Place your logo (we can also design a logo for you).
5. Help you write and edit your content
6. Place your content on your site’s pages
7. Customize the design of the theme (colors, fonts, and etcetera)
8. Populate your photo gallery or make and populate full photo albums for you
9. Add new unique pages with their own unique header images
10. And just about anything else.

Note: It’s highly variable, but most Om Sites websites that we set up for clients end up costing between $295 and $495.

1. You select an Om Sites website theme.
2. You collect your photos (7-9) that you would like to use as header images. (Not all themes require photos from you.)
3. You purchase a web hosting account if you do not already have one and install WordPress. If you do not have a web host and/or do not have WordPress already installed, we can help you with that (see the “What You Are Paying For” tab).
4. When you are all ready, contact us using the form on the gallery page of the template you selected, or use the “Order Your Om Site” link in the main menu above.
5. We will email you back, typically within 1 business day, confirming your order. We will also let you know where you can email your photos and ask you what, if any services you would like us to do for you (see the “What You Are Paying For” tab).
6. We will complete your site and go live with it.
7. Often a tweak here or there is needed, maybe a different picture or 2 used. We will make those changes.
8. We will then invoice you through PayPal to pay with a credit card (you don’t need a PayPal account, just a credit card).
9. Upon receiving payment from you, we’ll send you a set of easy to use instructions on how to log in to your website and how to edit your site’s content.
10. You’ll probably have a few questions, no problem, we’re here to help.
11. That’s about it! You’ll be off and running.

Om Sites are designed for yoga teachers, but can be adapted for other users. The cost of adapting depends completely on how much alteration you want to the site; the total cost of the site plus alterations typically ranges from $400 to $800. We also do fully original sites completely unique and customized for you. There are a lot of factors that need to be considered on a fully custom site, but typically they range from $2,000 to $2,500.

We can also convert an existing site onto WordPress so you can edit your own content. The price varies widely to do this, but usually doesn’t cost more than $1,500.
